In true Mardi Gras style Ragin Cajun is an exciting fast track roller coaster that twists, turns and tilts as groups of four riders zigzag through 1,378 feet of dizzying 360° spins, breathtaking drops, sudden twists and erratic speeds. The roller coaster’s uniquely-designed train spins independently as it zips through a course as wild as its name.
On Ragin’ Cajun, the amount of spinning, twisting and all around dizzying insanity you’ll experience will depend entirely on the riders of each and every ride. Four people at a time load into one-of-a-kind spin cars and launch onto the 1,378-foot-long swooping, soaring, sloping track.
It seems simple enough as you ascend up a 43-foot hill. Once at the top, you zig-zag through a series of hairpin turns, tight curves, and breathtaking drops. But then, suddenly, and without warning, your car starts to spin around and around, faster and faster, while continuing to zip around the track! Now the world is a blur as you slant and swivel around the track. Not only do you move forward down this track, you’ll tilt sideways, twist unexpectedly, and spin mercilessly around the dizzying maze of track.
Being that no four people are exactly alike, no two rides are ever alike. Micro-factors like weight, movement, and whether you wore high tops or running shoes today will all combine with velocity and acceleration to determine exactly how your car 360s around the course.
