Saturday, July 15th is World Snake Day, join us at Reptile Discovery, starting at 11:30am and learn about snakes and what you can do to support the snake population.
Join us at Reptile Discovery for Animal Care Specialist talks, reptile meet and greets, special reptile demonstrations, and a drawing with special prizes! World Snake Day will benefit local organization Save the Snakes! Learn about the plight of endangered snakes in the the wild and help support the important work of Save the Snakes.
Save the Snakes is a conservation organization that funds snake conservation organization that funds snake conservation projects all over the world. This organization is committed to saving snakes through public education and outreach.
Donate $5 to sssnap a photo with a snake and be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a grand prize!
World Snake Day Schedule
- 11:30am – Snake Shed Crafts; Work with our Animal Care Specialists to create a slithery keepsake!
- 1:00pm – Reptile Trainer Talk; Learn about how we provide these incredible animals with proper nutrition, enrichment, training and more!
- 2:00pm – Snake Photos; Pose next to one of our ambassador animals! (Recommended donation $5)
- 3:00pm – Prize Drawing; Make your contribution to Save the Snakes Foundation and enter for a chance to win animal meet and greets and more!

All proceeds will be donated to Save the Snakes, whose mission is:
