While Discovery Kingdom has plenty to offer when it comes to fun and thrills, we all know that drones are the main attraction during Star-Spangled Nights presented by M&M’s®. Lucky for you, we’re spilling all the secrets this summer — head to these featured viewing areas for the best views and best vibes during Discovery Kingdom’s drone shows.
- Chabot Stadium
- Do you want the best seat in the house? Secure your spot to the best seat in the house with premium seat tickets at Chabot Stadium and view the drone show across the majestic Lake Chabot.
- Seaside Junction
- Large crowds aren’t your thing? Step to the side and claim your space at Seaside Junction. Just before Chabot Stadium, tucked away is the perfect standing viewing area.
- Looney Tune Seaport
- Trying to catch the show on your way out of the park? Stop by Looney Tune Seaport to beat the crowd once the show is over.
Please note that drones are scheduled for specific durations and times, and that they are weather permitting and subject to change.

Exiting Discovery Kingdom When the Party is Over
All good things must come to an end, and Star-Spangled Nights presented by M&M’S® is no different. Once the drone show has concluded, be sure to follow these helpful tips and guidelines as you exit the park. We anticipate large crowds for this awesome event; Discovery Kingdom thanks you for doing your part to exit in an orderly manner — your cooperation will help to make your exit from the park safe, smooth, and efficient.
Please adhere to the following guidelines as you exit the park after the drone show has concluded:
- At the conclusion of the drone show, Discovery Kingdom will be closed for the night. Please be sure to gather your group and belongings, and exit in an orderly fashion.
- Stick together and stay safe! Please be sure of your surroundings as a large number of people will be leaving the park at the same time! Continue to abide by Discovery Kingdom safety rules throughout Star-Spangled Nights, including when given directions by Discovery Kingdom team members.
