Saying Farewell to a Classic Attraction
As we look toward the future, we have to make some tough decisions. To move forward and evolve sometimes we must step away from some attractions from our past.
The Parachute Tower first opened at Six Flags Great Adventure in 1983 as Parachuter’s Perch. In its more than 40 year-history at the park, it was known by several names but the experience was the same – a beautiful, bird’s eye view of the theme park with an exhilarating 230-foot drop.
What’s Coming in 2025 and 2026?
In 2025, get ready for the first super boomerang coaster in North America! This new high-speed ride will offer an adrenaline-pumping experience like no other. And the excitement doesn’t stop there! In 2026, we’ll debut a world-record-breaking launch roller coaster that will push the limits of design and thrill, making Six Flags Great Adventure the ultimate destination for coaster fans.
