The environment is a core priority for us. Our team includes a dedicated member focused on advancing our sustainability efforts, supported by several employee committees addressing environmental concerns. We are actively working to enhance our practices, ensuring they are increasingly responsible and sustainable. We carefully select our partners to ensure they share our commitment to environmental objectives.
In 20 years, we envision a Montreal community that thrives, experiences and shares emotions that create memories through inclusive, accessible, and responsible events, fostering pride across generations.
An inclusive work environment
La Ronde is proud of the diversity that enriches our teams. We advocate for inclusion within our large family. Season after season, we are delighted to carry out La Ronde’s mission under the leadership of a gender-balanced Executive Committee and Ms. Emond, President of La Ronde since 2021.
Concrete actions for a healthier planet
Waste Reduction
Since 2022, many beverages at La Ronde have been served in reusable “Ramène-moi à La Ronde” cups. Thanks to this program, we have significantly reduced our consumption of disposable cups.
- Reusable tableware is used to serve meals during our corporate events.
- Condiments and utensils are provided upon request to minimize waste.
- We also strive to reduce waste related to our employees’ uniforms. Worn uniforms are repurposed to give them a second life-as transport bags!

In harmony with natural environments
Being located on an island, we are in close proximity to various species that live around and within our park, and we are deeply committed to protecting the island’s biodiversity. La Ronde makes considerable efforts to minimize its impact on natural habitats and promote better coexistence with the remarkable wildlife that calls the island home.
- La Ronde has launched an awareness campaign aimed at both visitors and staff to ensure better coexistence and to highlight the importance of preserving wildlife.
- We are also adapting our operations to accommodate the species that have chosen La Ronde as their home. For instance, we close off certain areas of the park during the nesting period of red-winged blackbirds.

In a substainable journey, together
With easy access to public transportation around our park, we consistently encourage our visitors and employees to use public and active transportation to travel to our park.
We are also developing several internal awareness campaigns for our employees to inform and engage them in our mission.
Les amis de La Ronde
Each year, the park also donates 10,000 free tickets to the boroughs of Montreal, which are responsible for distributing them to underserved communities.
