YMCA of Greater Springfield
Six Flags has been a proud partner of the YMCA of Greater Springfield for more than two decades. The YMCA of Greater Springfield has been a way of life for thousands of youth, teens, families and seniors throughout our region. The YMCA is proudly working together with community partners to meet the growing needs of the 14 cities and towns that they serve within Springfield, Massachusetts. The YMCA of Greater Springfield is committed to offering programs for enhanced Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. Six Flags New England proudly partners in a variety of capacities including ticket donations, character visits, toy drives and more.
Boys and Girls Club of Springfield
Six Flags has been a proud partner of the Boys and Girls Club of Springfield for more than two decades. The Boys and Girls Club is committed to providing a safe and fun place for kids to grow by delivering engaging programs focused on academics, health, and leadership. Six Flags New England has consistently donated tickets, goods, character meet and greets, craft supplies and a variety of other needs requested by behalf of the Boys and Girls Club. The park has also proudly committed over 2,500 volunteer hours with its annual Project 6 program by painting, cleaning, organizing, landscaping and enhancing its local Boys and Girls Club.
Give Kids the World
Six Flags has been a proud partner of Give Kids The World for more than two decades. The Give Kids The World Village (GKTW) is a 70-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. GKTW provides accommodations at its whimsical resort, donated attractions tickets, meals and more for a week-long, cost-free fantasy vacation. With the help of many generous individuals, corporations such as Six Flags, and partnering wish-granting organizations. In addition, through the generous donation of admission tickets to the World Passport for Kids Program, children who have stayed at the Village, are able to visit their favorite local theme park free of charge, once they return home. Six Flags Friends has been a longtime member of the World Passport Program and each year welcomes thousands of children and their families for a day filled with fun.
Baystate Medical Center
Six Flags New England is proud to partner with the region’s largest hospital, Baystate Medical Center. With a partnership that spans well over a decade the Thrill Capital of New England is proud to support Baystate with tickets, character meet and greets, VIP visits for patients and more. Since March of 2020 the Thrill Capital of New England has provided resources, tickets and initiatives to support Baystate during the pandemic. This includes mobile vaccination units, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ticket incentives for both employees and patients. The properties commitment to vaccinations continues with ticket incentives with every COVID vaccine.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Six Flags has been a proud partner of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) for more than a decade. JDRF works tirelessly to find better treatments, preventions and ultimately, a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications through critical research. Six Flags New England proudly sponsors JDRF’s annual walk to help raise funds for type 1 diabetes research with over 5,000 walkers. Each year the property provides thousands of tickets to enhance donations raising upwards of $400,000 annually for JDRF.
Make-A-Wish Foundation
Six Flags has been a proud partner of Make-A-Wish for more than a decade. Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. Six Flags Friends is proud to be a part of this amazing wish-granting organization and is excited to fulfill the wishes of children who dream of visiting Six Flags New England. Each wish is specially crafted with the child in mind to create a magical and memorable day for the Make-A-Wish child and their family.
Springfield Rescue Mission
Six Flags has been a proud partner of Springfield Rescue Mission (SRM) for more than a decade. The goal of SRM since 1892 is to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the hungry, homeless, addicted and poor in Springfield, Massachusetts. SRM provides meals, courses, resources, programs, job coaching and a variety of other functions to best serve the poor and homeless within its community. Throughout the years Six Flags New England has proudly donated tickets, character meet and greets, meals-to-go and most recently, over $20K in food during the pandemic.
Springfield Police Department
Six Flags has been a proud partner of the Springfield Police Department for more than five years. The Springfield Police Department and Massachusetts State Police facilitate unity of effort and criminal intelligence gathering by, with, and through interagency, community, and private enterprise cooperation in order to detect, disrupt, degrade and dismantle criminal activity. Six Flags New England has continuously provided ticket donations, candy, bears and a variety of other donations to best support the Police Department and people it serves.
Tickets Donations
The mission of Six Flags Friends is to deliver smiles and thrills to children and families across North America, from the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Six Flags New England is pleased to assist qualified New England non-profit organizations with their fundraising efforts with a once a year donation. Six Flags New England prides itself on being involved in the community by helping local public non-profit organizations through in-kind donations of tickets.
