Tip #1: Hurricane Harbor Atlanta Admission
Access to Hurricane Harbor Atlanta is included with your Six Flags Over Georgia theme park admission ticket or season pass. That’s right. Your theme park admission doesn’t just unlock the epic coasters, shows, and attractions of Six Flags Over Georgia; it also gets you access to a water park packed with thrills, chills and family fun.
Whether you’re planning a single-day visit or looking to maximize your season pass perks, Hurricane Harbor is built right into your experience. No extra cost or hassle.
Getting there is a breeze. After entering through the Six Flags Over Georgia front gate, make your way toward the back of the park near The Great American Scream Machine. That’s where your water park adventure begins.
Pro Tip: Hurricane Harbor Atlanta doesn’t open until noon, so if you get to the park early, you’ll have time to enjoy a few coasters before grabbing a spot by the wave pool.
Tip #2: Complimentary Life Jackets
At Hurricane Harbor Atlanta, the safety and well-being of our guests and team members is our highest priority. Children, first-time swimmers, and weak swimmers are encouraged to wear a life jacket. Some water park attractions require guests below a certain height to wear a life jacket.
Hurricane Harbor provides life jackets for guests in a variety of sizes, from infant to adult, free of charge. The life jackets can be found near Calypso Bay Wave Pool. Guests are also welcome to wear their own life jacket, but it must be U.S. Coast Guard certified.

Tip #3: Locker Rentals
No one wants to worry about their phone while going down a water slide. That’s why locker rentals are available in multiple convenient locations and sizes throughout Hurricane Harbor Atlanta.
Lockers are available at three locations:
- Tidal Wave Café
- Bonzai Pipelines
- Paradise Island Bathhouse and First Aid
Rentals are automated, accepting credit card payment. After renting a locker, guests will set an electronic pin code, which allows unlimited access to the locker throughout the day.
Lockers at Hurricane Harbor Atlanta are not transferable to or from Six Flags Over Georgia. Locker access is available until the water park closes for the evening, and all lockers will be cleared out each night. Water park can be found on our operating calendar. Six Flags is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Tip #4: Six Flags Dining Plans

Tidal Wave Cafe is Hurricane Harbor Atlanta’s flagship dining location and accepts Six Flags Over Georgia dining plans for select menu items. Tip #5: Private Cabana Rentals
Want to feel like a VIP? Have it made in the shade with a private cabana. Three different types of cabanas are available to rent at Hurricane Harbor Atlanta.
Standard Cabana
A Standard Cabana includes access for up to six guests. Standard Cabanas, tucked away off shore at Calypso Bay Wave Pool, include:
- Two lounge chairs plus a table with seating for four
- An assigned cabana host or hostess
- A ceiling fan, private storage box, and mini refrigerator with complimentary bottled water
Gold Cabana
A Gold Cabana includes access for up to six guests. Gold Cabanas, located at on the beachfront of Calypso Bay Wave Pool, include:
- A family meal deal for four, plus dessert
- Two lounge chairs plus a table with seating for four
- An assigned cabana host or hostess
- A ceiling fan, private storage box, and mini refrigerator with complimentary bottled water
Platinum Cabana
A Platinum Cabana includes access for up to eight guests. This most luxury cabana experience includes:
- A family meal deal for eight, plus dessert
- Premium seating and two lounge chairs
- An assigned cabana host or hostess
- A ceiling fan, private storage box, and mini refrigerator with complimentary bottled waters and soda
Cabana rentals can be made online ahead of time or at our Cabana Rentals stand inside of Hurricane Harbor Atlanta. We recommend booking in advance, though, because you never know when they might sell out!
