AUSTELL, GA — August 31, 2022 — Six Flags Over Georgia—the Thrill Capital of the South—and Six Flags White Water—the South’s Most Thrilling Water Park—today announced an impressive event lineup for the 2023 season. Parks are introducing exciting, new festivals like Spirits of Spring in March, Coaster Fest in June and Kids Fest in July, as well as the return of guest-favorites like Dive in Movies, Brews & Bites, Fright Fest, Holiday in the Park and more.
Six Flags Over Georgia’s event lineup for the remainder of 2022 includes:
- NEW! Coca-Cola® Dreamworld Experience: Weekends through September 5, Six Flags and Coca-Cola present the launch of a new multi-platform Dreamworld Arcade to help inspire park guests to discover the magic of dreaming through a whimsical digital experience. The experience, as well as Coca-Cola’s limited-edition Dreamworld beverage, will be available at the park during this event;
- Brews & Bites: Enjoy dozens of refreshing craft beers and cocktails from your favorite local breweries and grub on delicious offerings from some of the best gourmet food trucks in town, weekends, August 27 through September 5;
- NEW! Kids Boo Fest: Younger ghosts and ghouls are invited to dress up and enjoy family-friendly, fall themed activities, like trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating and more, select days, September 17 through October 31;
- Fright Fest® Presented by SNICKERS®: Once the sun goes down, the ghouls come out for Atlanta’s scariest and best Halloween event, complete with the spookiest haunted houses, terrifying scare zones, monstrous live shows and more, select nights, September 17 through October 31;
- DC™ Super Hero Run: Calling all heroes to a family-friendly race series coming to Six Flags Over Georgia! Guests can represent their favorite super hero as they take on the ultimate 5K experience inside of the park, September 18;
- NEW! Veterans Weekend: The park honors Veterans and active military personal over Veterans Day Weekend with complimentary admission and special surprises, November 12 and 13; and
- Holiday in the Park: Atlanta’s most dazzling event returns for the holiday season, transforming the park into a magical wonderland, complete with festive holiday shows, millions of lights, scrumptious treats and more, select dates, November 17 through January 1, 2023.
Events coming to Six Flags Over Georgia for the 2023 season include:
- Spring Break: School’s out! Guests are invited to celebrate Spring Break with exciting surprises and the park’s line-up of thrill rides and coasters, April 1 through 9;
- NEW! Spirits of Spring: Six Flags Over Georgia celebrates spring with a mix of refreshing spirits and delicious food, weekends, April 29 through May 7;
- NEW! Coaster Fest: This exciting, new event gives coaster enthusiasts the chance to get up close and personal with some of the most thrilling coasters in the southeast, featuring exclusive ride times, photo opportunities, Q&A sessions with park officials and more, weekdays, June 12 through 16;
- July 4th Fest: Celebrate Independence Day with Summer’s Biggest Party! This multi-day extravaganza features an explosive nightly fireworks display, a unique VIP experience and more patriotic delights, July 1 through 4;
- NEW! Kids Fest: Little thrill seekers can close out their summer vacation with a special event created just for kids and families, featuring character meet and greets, dance parties and more fun surprises, July 22 through 30;
- Brews & Bites: Weekends, August 26 through September 4;
- Kids Boo Fest: Select days, September 16 through October 29;

Events coming to Six Flags White Water for the 2023 season include:
