Summer has arrived, bringing with it high temperatures and humidity. The heat can’t stop the fun at Six Flags Over Georgia! You can stay cool during your visit with the following helpful tips and tricks.

COMPLIMENTARY WATER: Stay hydrated with complimentary water, available at all open dining locations in the park. We also have multiple refresh stations located around the park where you can refill a drink bottle. 

Please note, all refillable bottles must be empty upon arrival.

OUTSIDE ITEMS: Guests are welcome to bring certain items into the park, such as cooling towels and personal fans, to help cool off. Lockers are available for rental throughout the park to store your belongings.

INDOOR FUN: Take a break and cool off with Six Flags Over Georgia’s indoor attractions.

• This summer, our air-conditioned Crystal Pistol Music Hall features a Broadway-caliber production of Surfin’ USA!
• Grab a bite to eat at one of our dining locations with a large, air-conditioned dining room, such as the newly renovated Dee Jay’s Diner, the all-new Firehouse BBQ or Miner’s Cookhouse.
• Cool down while enjoying the thrills of our two indoor rides – Monster Mansion and JUSTICE LEAGUE™: Battle for Metropolis.

WATER RIDES: Make a splash with two thrilling water rides:

• Speed-glide down our very own mountain river on Log Jamboree, our classic log flume attraction, located near Georgia Scorcher.
• Prepare to get soaked on Thunder River, a white-water river challenge sure to cool you off on a hot Georgia day!

SPLASH! WATER PARADE: Have fun in the sun and cool down with our all-new SPLASH! Water Parade, select dates June 28 to July 11. The Wacky Water Works Company and its troupe of partying plumbers are splashing through the park’s midways with bucket and blasters – mists, sprays and splashers!

WATER PARK: Hurricane Harbor Atlanta, Six Flags Over Georgia’s on-site water park, features a wave pools, a large-play structure and multiple water slides, allowing you to cool off while having fun. Best of all, water park access is included with park admission!

SHADED PRIVATE CABANAS: Cool off in a private, shaded cabana at Hurricane Harbor Atlanta. There are three types of cabanas available, for groups of all sizes. We recommend reserving a cabana online prior to your visit.
