AUSTELL, GA — June 10, 2022 — Six Flags Over Georgia—the Thrill Capital of the South— celebrates 55 years of thrills with an exciting event lineup and the introduction of the new Six Flags Annual Pass program.
During a season that already includes the largest array of guest experience improvements in the parks’ 55-year history, Six Flags Over Georgia presents a robust event lineup and a new pass that provides more flexibility and value than ever before.
Upcoming special events:
- 55th Anniversary and World’s Largest Coaster Ride, June 16 – The park is celebrating its anniversary with limited time birthday cake fudge and fudge pops at Coaster Candy. As an added benefit for Pass Holders, the park is hosting a Pass Holder exclusive event in the morning, featuring an early ride time on select attractions and a giveaway of a limited edition 55th Anniversary pin. And, as part of World Roller Coaster Appreciation Month, Six Flags Over Georgia joins American Coaster Enthusiasts, and theme parks worldwide, in the World’s Largest Coaster Ride. On June 16 at 2:00 pm, the park will dispatch The Great American Scream Machine, simultaneously with other participating parks celebrating the opening of the world’s first roller coaster, La Marcus Thompson’s Switchback Railway at Coney Island on June 16, 1884;
- Coca-Cola July 4th Fest, July 2 to 4 – Each year, Six Flags Over Georgia celebrates July 4th with the biggest party in Atlanta. This summer guests can enjoy heart-racing thrill rides during the day and a fireworks show that lights up the sky nightly. For an upgraded experience, the park offers a Hurricane Harbor VIP ticket, providing exclusive access to Hurricane Harbor, an all-you-can-eat buffet, premium fireworks viewing and more. - Brews & Bites, Weekends in August – The park’s summer food and beverage festival returns for its second year, featuring the best food, brews and live entertainment Atlanta has to offer;

- Holiday in the Park, November 19 to January 1 – Atlanta’s most dazzling wintertime event brings the magic of the holiday season back to Six Flags Over Georgia.

Six Flags unveils a new pass program featuring three different levels of benefits tailored to suit each guest’s preferences. This flexible, new program offers the option for 12 easy monthly payments:
- Annual Thrill Seeker Pass;
- $115.00 or 12 monthly payments starting at $9.62;
- Includes access to Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water, plus general parking and special savings (blockout dates apply);
- Annual Extreme Pass;
- $175.00 or 12 monthly payments starting at $14.62;
- Includes access to all Six Flags Outdoor Parks including Six Flags White Water, plus general parking, two Junior Passes and special savings;
- Annual Ultimate Pass;
- $350.00 or 12 monthly payments starting at $29.24; and
- Includes access to all Six Flags Outdoor Parks including Six Flags White Water, plus preferred parking, two Junior Passes, a ten-meal dining plan, and special savings.
