Park Kicks Off Spring Break with Exciting New Events like Scream Break, Egg Shellabration, and Low Sensory Sundays
AUSTELL, Ga — March 27, 2023 — School’s out, but Spring Break fun is in April 1-9 at
Six Flags Over Georgia — the Thrill Capital of the South and home to over 40 guest-loved attractions. Spring Break kicks off this weekend with exciting new events and celebrations, including:
- NEW Scream Break* – When night falls during Spring Break, the monsters come unleashed. Six Flags Over Georgia is introducing a new after-hours event, Scream Break, happening nightly, April 1-8. Guests can get their daily dose of vitamin scream with low wait times on select thrill rides and coasters, unlimited access to two of the park’s most popular haunted houses, devilish eats, bone-chilling entertainment and more;
- NEW Egg Shellabration – During the day, April 1-9, guests can take part in an egg scavenger hunt throughout the Bugs Bunny BoomTown and DC SUPER FRIENDS™ themed areas. Equipped with a scavenger hunt map, guests will go on a journey to find oversized eggs inspired by some of their favorite Looney Tunes and DC Super Hero characters. Once the final egg is found, guests can turn in their scavenger hunt map for a special prize;
- 50th Anniversary of The Great American Scream Machine – The park’s iconic wooden roller coaster, The Great American Scream Machine, celebrates its 50th anniversary this spring. To commemorate, the park will be giving away a limited edition 50th Anniversary pennant flag to the first 500 Pass Holders in the park on April 7. The park will also have 50th Anniversary decorations and photo opportunities on display all season long; and
- NEW Low Sensory Sundays – Kicking off during Spring Break and in recognition of World Autism Month, the park will create a relaxing and less stimulating environment for the first two hours of park operation April 2, 9 and 16.
Brews & Bites, is returning to the park later this spring. Weekends, April 22-30, savor the spirits of spring with over 75 refreshing craft beers and cocktails, food and beverage pairings, and exciting live entertainment.
