Announce Wage Increases for the 2021 Season
Now Hiring for Summer Season with Wages up to $15 an Hour for Some Positions
AUSTELL, Ga — April 12, 2021 — Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water today announced wage increases for a variety of jobs, many at the highest levels in the parks’ history. Starting immediately, team members can earn up to $15 an hour for a wide range of positions.

It is critical we offer competitive wages to attract and retain our valued employees,” said Park President Dale Kaetzel. “We are committed to being the Employer of Choice in the metro Atlanta region.”
The parks are currently hiring thousands of employees for its upcoming summer season.
The most substantial wage increases are for food and beverage operations, retail, park services, security, and lifeguard teams. Available positions at Six Flags Over Georgia will pay up to $15 an hour and up to $13 an hour at White Water.
The parks are accepting applications from entry level positions to leadership roles in all departments. The company offers a myriad of benefits for team members including advancement opportunities, educational scholarships, reward and recognition programs, free park admission, and much more.

The safety of park guests and employees is always the company’s top priority, and applicants may now apply for jobs in a completely virtual and contact-free environment. Applications may be completed online and interviews and training will all be done virtually; onboarding is contact-free.
Extensive Safety Measures for Staff and Guests
Six Flags’ comprehensive reopening plan, which the company developed in consultation with epidemiologists, meets or exceeds federal, state, and local guidelines for sanitization, hygiene, and social distancing protocols. The plan sets standards for executing at the highest levels of hygiene and social distancing protocols. Daily attendance is limited, and all guests, including Members and Season Pass Holders, must have a reservation to visit the parks.
